Duties and Responsibilities
Gain exposure and perform the following tasks;-
- Distribute funding calls timeously to UFS postgraduate students: Honours, Masters and PhDs.
- Send feedback to students on the status of their bursary applications.
- Scan NRF contractual agreement forms.
- Calculate average scores for UFS and NRF bursary applications.
- Gather, capture, compile and analyse data for CGS reports.
- Assist with the analysis of workshop evaluation forms.
- File documents, as requested by staff of the CGS.
- Deliver hard copy documents to offices and buildings on the UFS campus.
- CGS research: Draft research proposals, collect data, analyse data and report on data.
- Ensure data integrity and quality assurance of work done.
- Assist with preparations of all CGS workshops (carry what is required to workshops, unpack what is necessary at workshops, compile RSVPs to attendance registers, gather evaluation forms).
- Assist during all CGS workshops.
- Assist during all CGS events, such as the 3MT competition and marketing events.
- Assist with the distribution of advertisements of CGS activities and workshops.
- Assist with Webinar preparations.
- Serve at the reception of the CGS as required.
- Deliver hard copy documents to offices and buildings on the UFS campus.
- CGS research: Draft research proposals, collect data, analyse data and report on data.
- Ensure data integrity and quality assurance of work done.

Inherent Job Requirements:
- An Honours degree on NQF level eight (8) in Data Analysis or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Statistics or any relevant degree in a related field on NQF level 8.
The following criteria apply to the selection of candidates:
- Not currently participating in an existing learnership / internship programme.
- Willing to sign a learnership / internship agreement with the UFS.
