DIESEL MECHANIC LEARNERSHIP

NATIONAL CERTIFICATE – DIESEL MECHANICS (NQF LEVEL 3)
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with:
- Mathematics & Physical Science (ie. minimum E Symbol),
- Motor mechanics SG (i.e. minimum E Symbol on old syllabus),
- Mechanical Technology (i.e. minimum E Symbol on new syllabus)
OR
- N2 Certificate with 4 subjects:
- Mathematics,
- Engineering
- Science,
- Engineering Drawing.
- Diesel or Motor Trade Theory.
OR
- Relevant Engineering NCV Certificate with seven subjects at NQF level 3:
OR
- Relevant (directly related to the trade theory subjects) N6 certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S or N stream.):
- Literacy in Engish and Numeracy:
Advantageous:
- Operative / Generic Engineering Skils Programme
- N3 – N6 Engineering related certificates
- Minimum of 2 years engineering experience if applicable
ELECTRICIAN LEARNERSHIP

OR
- N2 Certificate with 4 subjects:

- Electrical Trade Theory.

- Relevant Engineering NCV Certificate with seven subjects at NQF level 3:

- Welding & Metal Work, Technical Drawing SG (i.e. minimum E Symbol on old syllabus)
- Engineering Graphics & Design (i.e. minimum E Symbol on new syllabus)
OR
- N2 Certificate with 4 subjects:
- Mathematics,
- Engineering Science,
- Plating & Structural Steel Drawing
- Plater’s Theory.
- Certificates/experience in the Engineering field will be an advantage;
- Candidates must be prepared to undergo a Psychometric and Practical assessment as part of the selection criteria;

ENGINEERING LEARNERSHIP
