Finance Intern
This role supports the finance team in the analysis, administrative and reporting of South Africa financial accounts and not limited to the below:
- Ensure that Stryker’s Compliance and Ethics program is followed at all times and that there is strict adherence to the Code of Conduct in all interactions.
- Responsible for providing regular feedback on performance of cost centers and allocated business units & General Ledger accounts.
- Assisting in the performance of month end close processes with adherence to reporting deadlines and assisting Finance Management with related tasks
- Prepare daily sales reports
- Prepare monthly cost Centre reporting to the business (BU P/L) & presentation of such.
- Perform ad hoc queries as requested by Management and the business

- Submission of Vat 201 via e-filing and preparation of supporting documentation upon request by the ROR.

Intern – IT (Information Technology)
The IT Intern’s Duties include and are not limited to installing and maintaining computer systems, including software and hardware on desktops and laptops, resolving internet and network access issues (both wired and wireless), providing network printer support, meeting with staff to provide one-on-one technical assistance as needed/requested. Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support. Organize and maintain IT resources. Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management.

Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse and kitroom space. Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions. Receives customer requests and prepares documents/trouble tickets related to processing returns (RMA), servicing and exchanges. Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules. Ensure service information accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms. Tenders & Pricing Intern
The Tenders and Pricing intern will be responsible for:
- Manage all tender and pricing related activities
- Manage the identification, co-ordination, preparation and submi sion of Tender and RFQ documentation
- Respond to ongoing internal and external customer enquiries regarding contracts and pricing
- Formulary tendering and submissions, actively manage the database
- Perform all associated Management Reporting.

Clinical Support/Sales Intern
The Stryker Sales/Clinical Support Intern responsibilities include directly supporting all Stryker products associated with Joint Replacement procedures. This role within Stryker SA will focus on servicing and supporting our clinical customers to strive for best in class specialist support with procedural excellence.
Additional responsibilities include working with the local sales team to coordinate training and events and managing day to day requirements of business support, ensuring Stryker delivers exceptional levels of service to our broad range of customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
- Servicing existing and new customer base within the theatre and clinical environment
- Providing theatre and wider HCP staff within depth training on Stryker products
- Working closely with other team members within the defined region, and the regional Sales Manager, to ensure customer service levels are best in class.
- Auditing theatre Stryker stock (implants, disposables and instruments), managing consignment inventory and ensuring good asset management practice
- Understanding the clinical application of the broader Stryker business to offer customers the best possible solution at all times
- Conducting trials and evaluations of products in both theatre and the clinical environment as and when required

Responsible for work orders specific to their product line and/or work station. Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work station. Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies. Must uphold quality standards. Supports the Sales team through the decontamination of used kits; checking and replenishing used Kits; dispatch, booking and coordinating used Kits; inventory management of used Kits.
