Spoor & Fisher has a vacancy in our Centurion office for a Patent Intern in our Life Sciences team.
Requirements:
- Applicants should hold, at least, Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Honours (Hons) degrees, in a biological field (e.g.
- genetics,
- biochemistry,
- immunology or a similar field.
The successful candidate will serve an internship while completing their LLB degree with a view to subsequently serving articles, in order to qualify as a Patent Attorney.
A career as a Patent Attorney is rewarding if you are looking to combine the technical skill and expertise from your science degrees with the legal knowledge that you will acquire in your studies towards an LLB degree. As a Patent Attorney you will be required to use your understanding of science and the law to protect your clients’ inventions both locally and internationally.
