The team you’ll be part of:
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
Our regional Radio NPO engineers normally get involved in delivering planning and optimization solutions on the latest Nokia Radio technology deployments across Middle East and Africa.
What You Will Learn and Contribute To:
- Help with radio network activities like network planning, deployment, integration, acceptance tests and optimization
- Get involved in network automation projects
- Create lab topologies & documentation. Review & validate technical documents
Education Recommendations:
- BSc: Telecom / Network / Computer & Software Engineering / Electronics and Communication / Electrics and Electronics Engineering / Data Engineering
- Excellent English skills: both verbal and written
- Strong desire to learn & develop himself/herself professionally
- Excellent verbal & written communication skill
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills: These skills are essential for understanding the complex equations and models used in radio planning and optimisation
- Knowledge of radio wave propagation: This knowledge is essential for understanding how radio waves travel through the air and how they are affected by the environment
