Partner Development Manager: Internship Opportunities

As a Partner Development Manager (PDM), you will act as the daily face of our company to our partner channel. You are accountable for driving performance of a managed portfolio of partners, by business priority, with a primary focus on Microsoft cloud services (O365, Azure and Dynamics 365) and complementary products. The goal is to drive partner recruitment, enablement and business growth based on the partners’ strengths and priorities. The PDM represents Microsoft to our partners, communicates our strategy, sells our vision, and brings partners along in the digital transformation journey. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, onboards, and manages relationships with Microsoft partners; differentiates the value of partnering with Microsoft versus competitors.
  • Aligns partners to strategic accounts and identifies market opportunities through industry analysis and intelligence.
  • Supports partner readiness through selling strategies, marketing plans, and portfolio optimization.
  • Analyzes business metrics to assess performance and identify areas for growth.

Cloud Solution Architect: Internship Opportunities

The purpose of the Customer Success Unit is to guide our customers to better deploy, adopt, and gain long-term business value from their investment in Microsoft. In turn, their successes will ensure we grow our Azure consumption. Ultimately, when customers are successful, we are successful. Cloud Solution Architects (CSA) drive high priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform in collaboration with customers and the Microsoft in-field strategic accounts segment of our business. This is a customer facing role, owning overall technical relationship between a customer and Microsoft Azure Applications Development Platform.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
  • Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
  • Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications.
  • Provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.

Account Management: Internship Opportunities

As an Account Management Intern, you are the main connection point between Microsoft and our customers. You provide strategic business leadership partnering with leaders in your customers’ organizations to align their business transformation agenda with digital solutions that can help them better engage customers, optimize operations, transform products, and shift their business models. Account Management roles are an incredible opportunity to learn, experience and ultimately drive all aspects of the client relationship, sales pursuit, and customer success lifecycles.

  • Builds connections with executives and business and technical decision makers in the assigned accounts to establish trust and credibility in future interactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creates and nurtures a partner ecosystem with assistance from manager and others, to drive larger impact for the customer.
  • Facilitates match-making to drive opportunities (e.g., cloud and solutions), connecting partners to sellers and identifying how specific business needs can be met via Microsoft solutions.
  • Delivers and integrates partner expertise and solutions into sales cycles that grow consumption of Microsoft products. 
  • Leverages the voice of partners and customers through direct engagements, field surveys, partner events and surveys, listening systems, and social mechanisms, to identify and alleviate key customer and partner success blockers.
  • Drives attendance to partner events and responses to surveys.
  • Connects resources and programs to support partner co-sell pipeline velocity and alleviate friction points.

Customer Success Manager: Internship Opportunities

The Customer Success Manager (CSM) delivers unique value by making customers passionate advocates of Microsoft by empowering them to realize the value of their investment in utilizing Microsoft products. Through collaboration with customers the CSM drives change management and adoption activities to help reduce implementation risk, drive usage of existing workloads, and identify valuable opportunities in their accounts. The CSM is also a key part of our customer facing sales teams and will be called on to leverage their deep knowledge of CRM or ERP to support sales growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Success understands their customers’ industry and business processes, which may include an industry or vertical focus such as Banking, Healthcare, or Manufacturing.
  • Promotes adoption of technology by helping the customer optimize the utilization of our products, demonstrating features beyond core functionality, ensuring Best Practice adoption.
  • Primary point of contact for the customer in a post-sales production environment, proactively coordinating with any other cross functional team or organization.
