Main Purpose of Role:
Trainee who will serve articles for a period of 24 months and gain experience across various legal sectors: Corporate, Commercial, Litigation, and other Projects. Dynamic work environment and the opportunity to be a part of a leading law firm.
The Job will also include both Magistrate Court and High Court experience and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with Civil litigation, Corporate Commercial matters, and Criminal matters.

Education / Training:
- BCom Law, BA Law and LLB Degree / LLB Degree / or equivalent degree admitted by the relevant Legal Practice Council
- Outstanding academic credentials
Work Experience:
- None.
Key Performance Areas:
- Legal support to clients and head of department
- Reporting to head of department on work done and files worked on
- Ensuring that targets are met as set from time to time
- Attending court
- Attending to all legal aspects of client’s files and making correct and legally informed decisions
- Performs all other related duties

Technical:
- Knowledge and application of Mahumani Inc core values
- Ability to type minutes
- Microsoft Excel – Basic level
- Microsoft Word – Intermediate level
- Ability to type from a Dictaphone
- Keeping themselves updates a with current legislation
- Basic understanding of the relevant Acts relating to company function
