We are looking for Environmental, Health and Safety Intern to join our team. This role will allow a successful candidate to support a high performing team, to learn EHS practices, gain exposure and experience of working in the Manufacturing Industry.
What will you be doing?
- Executing the below specific responsibilities however not limited to them
- Participating in Sustainability Projects (Water, Energy and Waste)
- Handling contractor Mill Inductions
- Risk Assessments and Mitigation plans implementation
- Be part of the EHS committee
- Data analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/B-Tech in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Chemical Engineering
- Academic results above 70% in their final year whilst maintaining a 60% -65% average or over during the duration of their studies
- Great attention to detail
- Committed team player
- Willingness to learn and results-oriented
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Customer Focus
Personal Skills:
- Good command of English is a must,
- Strong organizational skills, effective at planning and able to manage and prioritise
- Highly collaborative, with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Professionalism and resilient under pressure
