Inviting applications for the role of Service Management Specialist – Management Trainee – English – On site Johannesburg
In this role, you will be responsible for a primary function of Service Management but will also play an integral part in overall continuous improvement through involvement in Knowledge Management, Lean Six Sigma (LDT) and Process Mining initiatives.
You will coordinate and manage the alignment of all operations to the Service Management standards set by Genpact and our client, in respect of governance, risk, quality and compliance. Work with Operations leads and customers to communicate and manage all service management frameworks including operational and strategic controls required for alignment to Genpact and client service standards. Be the single point of contact (SPOC) for Service Management and Quality Control as well as for systems and tools used for service management (SNI, SFDC Case, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Service Management
- Manage all aspects of Service Management, on behalf of the GBS, providing support, guidance, improvement, and feedback, and working closely with Genpact teams to ensure ongoing compliance with all internal and contractual requirements.
Surprise Free Operations (SFO) Framework
- Support the awareness and adoption of the SFO framework, ensuring it becomes embedded in the day to day running of the operations team.
- Support, implement and manage controls, including Common Minimum Practices and Internal and External Audits
- Ensure the Data Flow Diagrams are maintained and up to date
- Provide administrative support for any client experience related initiatives (for example CSat surveys)
- Provide administration support for continuous improvement related initiatives
Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
- SPOC for BPC for South Africa – provide input and reporting regarding critical activities
- Support the implementation of regular BCP testing
Service Management Systems and Projects
- Client IT Access: Onboarding and offboarding resources
- Liaise with client to ensure that all systems for requesting GBS services (e.g., Service Now Internal, SFDC Case) are correctly set up, maintained, and reported.
- Manage team tools such as SharePoint
- Design, deliver and implement Service management-related initiatives as required
- Provide administrative support for all SM related initiatives
Quality Control Auditing
- As the SPOC for Quality Control Auditing, manage operations’ quality audits to ensure these are correctly performed, delivered, and reported in line with the Quality Control frameworks and perform quality audits as assigned.

Support and participate in the management and reporting of the 5 Knowledge Management Pillars

Actively participate in LDT (Lean Digital Transformation) initiatives to drive value generation and client satisfaction.
