Entry level in the Business Solutions job family within Business Analysis. Working as part of a team executing effective and professional business analysis services aligned with Expleo methodologies.
Works under the supervision of a senior team member. Delivers in own area and contributes to overall on-time and on budget project goals whilst learning the basics of Business Analysis.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the successful completion of projects and works on small projects.
- Uses a basic ability in identifying and using a wide range of knowledge sources. Researches and understands client agenda and issues. Understands the purpose and content of client proposals and develops an awareness of a range of tools.
- Uses different software solutions to provide expertise in the implementation and administration of a particular domain, within a customer focused project team.
- Collates and reports information, identifying trends and exceptions. Solicits guidance to define criteria and to assign values of importance and urgency.
- Inquires about the relationship of technology to the business as it pertains to assigned area of responsibility and related projects. Can investigate and identify problems, and act to prevent and solve them.
- Applies process definitions and workflows, and identifies process bottlenecks. Contributes suggestions for process improvement.
- Assists with the compilation of reports and maintains business analysis project documents.
- Uses established techniques to identify current problems and elicit, specify and document business functional, data and non-functional requirements for simple subject areas with clearlydefined boundaries.
- Plans and manages own time and work, contributing to overall on-time and on-budget project goals.
- Maintains the status of project responsibilities and work across teams to achieve group goals.
- Takes ownership of own career development, demonstrating progress toward professional goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Business Analysis
Desirable:
- Additional course or certification in Business Analysis

General:

- Good communication skills, communicating effectively with appropriate level of detail, and using language that connects with different audiences.
Technical:
- Previous experience in financial services or banking or capital markets not required, but advantageous
- Basic knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
- Good understanding of the business analysis lifecycle.
- Knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, stakeholder management, use case definition and other business analysis techniques.
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience in investigating requirements, needs, problems, and opportunities contributing to the recommendation of improvements in components of new or changed processes.
