CapeNature Conservation seeks to appoint a dynamic person to assist with general office administration work at the CapeNature George Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for auxiliary services
- Ensure that the boardrooms are clean and set up for meetings
- Provide clean utensils and cutlery for meetings
- Procure and set up refreshments and catering for meetings
- Ensure the printing hub is neat and paper in the printer
- Ensure all office equipment is in working condition, and report to the supervisor if not.
Responsible for finance and administration
- Support the landscape Administrator with various finance and administration duties
- Responsible for the collection and mailing of post
- Assist with record keeping and filing of registers, spreadsheets, etc
- Assist with procurement
- Banking of cash
- Manage PPE storeroom
Assist with asset management
- Complete asset documentation
- Tracking/barcoding of assets
- Asset verification
- Asset Disposal
- Update fixed asset register
Responsible for reception duties
- Manage the reception area
- Assist with the issue of permits (Wildcards/Angling/Hunting/Cycads)
- Answer telephone calls professionally and takes messages
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12.
- At least one-year job-related experience.
- A valid code B driver’s license will be an advantage
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email, Internet use).
- No criminal record.
Competencies:
- Knowledge and experience in working in administration, tourism and maintenance of infrastructure & equipment.
- Ability to function independently and within a team.
