Purpose of Position:
- To learn how to process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all benches in the Genetics Laboratory.
Requirements:
- BSc Degree (Hons) in appropriate discipline required;-
- Genetics,
- Human Genetics,
- Biochemistry,
- Molecular Biology,
- Cell Biology,
- Haematology,
- Forensic Genetics
Required Experience:
- Exposure to a laboratory environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete and submit an appropriate portfolio of evidence to the HPCSA within the required timeframe.,
- Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath.,
- Perform accreditation and Quality Control related tasks to ensure standards are upheld.,
- Receive and process specimens in order to ensure efficient delivery of results.
