Samancor Chrome invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 24-month Graduate / Traineeship Programme 2023-2025.

Closing Date: 14 & 15 May 2023
Successful candidates will undergo an intensive, structured 24-month Graduate and Engineer in Training Development Programme under the supervision of Professionals. The Programme is designed to enable the Graduates to acquire knowledge and develop skills in a heavy Engineering plant in the mineral processing industry with regards to Chemical Engineering studies.
Programme Duration:
- 12 months fixed term contract
- Performance and GIT Programme review after 12 months for extension of contract

Graduate in Training: Chemical Engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech Degree in Chemical Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in Chemical/ Metallurgical Engineering environment will be advantageous.
Graduate in Training: Electronic Engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech Degree in Electronic Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in Electronic Engineering environment will be advantageous.
Graduate in Training: Mechanical Engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering environment will be advantageous.
Graduate in Training: Metallurgical Engineering
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech Degree in Metallurgical Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in Metallurgical Engineering environment will be advantageous.
Engineer in Training: Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current & Light Current)
Qualifications:
- Degree in Heavy or Light Current Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in the Electrical Engineering environment will be advantageous.
Engineer in Training: Mechanical Engineering
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering environment will be advantageous.
Engineer in Training: Metallurgy Engineering and Chemical Engineering
Qualifications: Degree in;-
- Metallurgy Engineering or
- Chemical Engineering
Advantageous:
- Experience in the Metallurgy or Chemical environment will be advantageous.
