Mondi Grpup invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 24-months Graduate Traineeship / Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.

We have Engineer-In-Training opportunities available at our Mondi Merebank operation.
We invite high calibre graduates wishing to pur sue a car eer i n heavy engi neeri ng t o apply for t he Mondi Engineer-in-Training (EIT) development program.
We offer a 2-year practical training program where successful candidates, who have recently completed their degree at an official SA University, are given the opportunity to gain industrial exposure whilst building their career. The programisfurther aligned with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) requirements.
A mentor will guide and monitor progress to ensure that the EIT is able to handle an engineer’s responsibilities.
Requirements:
- BEng / BSc Industrial Engineering Degree
- Completed the degree in a maximum period allowed of 5 years
- Achieved a minimum of 60% aggregate for the above degree
- Practical industrial exposure will be an added advantage (vacation work)
- Good organisation, planning and analytical skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
The work scope:
- Understanding and applying time study methodologies
- Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques
- Understanding Lean Management techniques e.g. TPM
- Measuring process capacity: production processes and warehousing
- Data acquisition, mining & mapping
- Change management, ergonomics and working closely with team members to improve safety and efficiency
