Talane – Eskom just made the announcement that on Tuesday, South Africa will be experiencing stage 2 load shedding, scheduled to commence at 22:00 until 05:00 the following day. This will be implented again on Wednesday night.
This comes after the President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa announced SA’s going to adjusted level 3 of lockdown.
Some South Africans are of the presumption that this is government’s doing as they are trying to force curfew upon them. Recall, our president made it clear that “we are not wearing masks” and we have been partying even though we were warned not to – that’s where the assumptions emanate…
Someone replied to the presumptions of being forced to adhere to the curfew by saying, Eskom is implementing stage 2 load shedding now, to shun from doing so in January, saying this is a “preservation of generation.”
