The second batch of Johnson and Johnson vaccine arrives in South Africa

Johannesburg – South Africa receives a second batch of Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccine as the flight landed in O.R Tambo International Airport, from Belgium, Brussels.

According to eNCA, the second batch contains more than 80 000 doses following the first rollout of 160 000 doses.

The J&J vaccine is said to be 82% effective in preventing the detrimental illness from the coronavirus.
