Talane – South Africans together with the African Transformation Movement (ATM) President Zungula question the police for failing to act against the Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane for not wearing a mask at the Jackson Mthembu’s funeral.

South Africans say the premier thereof disregarded the lockdown regulations which should amount to a fine not exceeding or imprisonment not exceeding 3 months.

This came after Police Ministry spokesperson Lirandzu Themba tweeted that Police Minister General Bheki Cele is concerned about MP Premier’s demeanour as she was seen on TV without a mask.

Themba said Cele obstructed that such behaviour be investigated.

Zungula said there’s nothing to be investigated, there should’ve been an arrest because she would’ve been in police cells or fined if she was an ordinary citizen.

Myriads of SA citizens complaint of the treatment towards leaders by the police.
