Johannesburg – One person shot dead whilst the police tries to disperse Witwatersrand University fees protesters in Braamfontein this morning.
According to News24, the shot dead person, allegedly by cops, was not part of the protesters.
It is reported that, students protested towards a clinic in De Beer Street, whilst the occupants in nyala shot to the protesters where a person exiting the clinic was hit.
A Nectare 911 emergency care practitioner assessed the man and declared him dead whilst police were trying to disperse Wits students.
The protest follows non-registration of students owing the institution, literally the ones who are in debts.
As it is nature of the students political parties, they decided to protest as the mere way of having the prevented to register students, registered.
Following the Wednesday morning, thus far two students were arrested during the protesters dispersing.
