- Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula faces a crimen injuria case
- Public Protector Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane opened a case against Mbalula for calling her a “hired gun”
- South Africans says Mbabula should be fired as the minister as what he said to Mkhwebane constitutes women abuse
Talane – Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula’s recent tweet that Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s a “hired gun” backfired as Mkhwebane open a case against him.
News24 Political Editor, Qaanitah Hunter says Mkhwebane did complain about Mbalula and other ministers’ demeanour to President Cyril Ramaphosa yet no action were taken, nor did he receive a response from the Presidency.
On the 8th of March, Mkhwebane “opened a case of crimen injuria against Mbalula after he called her [a hired gun] in a tweet.”
Myriads of South Africans asked questions like “what did Fikile Mbalula bring to South Africa as the minister?” and they say, he “should be removed as a minister,” calling his utterances towards Mkhwebane a form of women abuse.
Mbalula tried to get rid of the tweets with which he was ridiculing Mkhwebane, unfortunately there are screenshots.
He’s called a “pathological liar” for trying to act as if he didn’t exhibit any of his repugnant demeanour towards the Public Protector.
