Limpopo Premier Stanley Mathabatha will be delivering the State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Thursday

Polokwane – The Limpopo Premier Stanley Mathabatha is set to address the province through the State of the Province Address (SOPA) on Thursday, the 25th of February 2021 at 10:50.

It is said that the leading party, the African National Congress (ANC)’s 2021 plans for the province would be discussed as well.

Mathabatha’s not happy with the outcomes of the Department of Basic Education (DBE) Class of 2020 learners in the province as 7 schools recorded 0% pass rate, a drop from 9 schools for Class of 2019.

According to Capricorn FM, 3 schools are in Sekhukhune district, 2 in Waterburg district, and Capricorn and Mopani districts each have 1 school with a zero percentile matric pass rate.

The meeting will be presided by the Speaker of the Limpopo Legislature Rosemary Molapo.

The Limpopo SOPA for 2021 (LimSOPA2021) will be broadcasted live on DSTV Channel 408 on Thursday at 10:50, and aired on local radio stations and a live broadcast will be made accessible on the Limpopo Legislature website, www.limpopoleg.gov.za.
