Former South African President Jacob is served with another summon compelling him to appear in the state capture.
The summon was received after Zuma walked out of the state capture of which led to Judge Zondo laying charges against him.
Zondo said they will write a letter to the Constitutional Court with which to issue a summon that compels Zuma to appear in the proceedings and remain there until the adjournment by the presiding judge.
“No one is allowed to leave here until I say so,” Judge Zondo tells the media.
Professor of Law from the University of Cape Town, Prof Cathleen Powell didn’t find the letter written to the Constitutional Court necessary.
Constitutional Courts in South Africa relatively deals with matters related to human rights and JZ’s case or his leaving the state capture doesn’t amount to the transgression or violation of human rights, therefore the Constitutional Court’s intervention isn’t needed.
