Department of Health suspended Covid-19 screening at Beitbridge Border Post

Following the death at least 15 people waiting to cross Beitbridge border post due to long queues resulted from Covid-19 screening, the Health Department decided to cease having people screened.

The Road Freight Association (RFA) played a humongous role as the association called upon the government to act before things get even worse, they show concern about the safety of their workers, and that of the communities and businesses compassing Beitbridge.

The department says it has to make sure that all South Africans are safety, hence that’s why Covid-19 screening suspension.
