DA wants to know who paid extravagant trip by EFF Leader Julius Malema and others to former President Jacob Zuma in Nkandla

Talane – The Democratic Alliance (DA) earlier today has written to the National Assembly Speaker, Thandi Modise, requesting her to disclose the source of money paid for the tea meeting trip by EFF Leader Julius Malema and others to the former President Jacob Zuma’s homestead in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal on the 5th of February 2021.

DA said “the Speaker of National Assembly has the authority to request the Acting Secretary of Parliament to investigate all travel claims made by any Member of Parliament and also has the authority to report any possible abuse of resources allocated to any current or former Member of Parliament to the relevant authority once she is made aware of such abuse.”

DA said a large of delegates went with Malema to Nkandla, that’s after the circulation of photographs on social media where EFF Leader CIC Julius Malema was spotted with the Ekhuruleni Metropolitan Municipalty Councillor Mzwanudile Masina, EFF Speaker Mr Vuyani Pambo, ANC’s Crime and Corruption Committee Chairperson Tony Yengeni and EFF’s Chairperson Dali Mpofu, as the delegates accompanying him to the tea meeting in Nkandla, to former President Jacob Zuma.

The following are the questions that DA need answers to;

  • Were any official travel entitlements used to fund the visit?
  • Were any vehicles of VIP protection service used to transport any of the guests to and from Nkandla?
  • Were any benefits received in terms of travel or hospitality that require a declaration to be made in the register of Members Interests in Parliament?

DA took this to Twitter, where Blacks defended their very own saying “whites are threatened by black unity” and that “whites will be happy if blacks use buses to visit each other.”

The fearless Commander In Chief (CIC) of the EFF Julius Malema did not hesitate responding with a single word, he simply replied “Voetsek.” something that caught the eyes of many, his followers and blacks as a whole replied to Malema’s reply to DA – exhibiting how blacks does not tolerate having one of them mistreated by the whites.

I have never seen Blacks this defensive, surely Malema won the hearts of many.
