An opportunity exists for an exceptional IsiZulu Teacher to start from 1 May 2024.
Duties (not an exhaustive list):
- Teach isiZulu in the Intermediate phase.
- Ensure that lessons impart love and competence in isiZulu.
- Promotion of the St Peter’s Prep Schools attributes and values.
- Teach according to the St Peter’s Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy.
Qualifications and Experience
- Professional qualification
- 2 years of IsiZulu teaching experience
- SACE Registration

- A clear love of language which they enthusiastically share with their students.
- The ability to use technology as a tool for teaching and learning.
- Proven successful teaching experience with both mother tongue and second language students.
- Excellent content knowledge of isiZulu culture.
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to support and mentor and to be mentored.
- A values-based approach to teaching.
- The flexibility, ability, and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary.
- The intention is to work according to the school’s ethos specifications, and policies.
- The ability to manage processes and lead staff.
