St Henry’s Marist College is an independent, co-educational Catholic School founded in 1929 by the Marist Brothers and is situated in Glenwood, Durban.
We are looking for a full-time Foundation Phase Teacher to join our Marist family from January 2023.
Requirements:
- Be a qualified Foundation Phase teacher and registered with SACE;
- Have extensive prior experience teaching in the Foundation Phase;
- Be able to work in a collaborative environment as part of a Foundation Phase team;
- Be able to work with children in a nurturing way in order to develop them holistically;
- Be able to incorporate ICT in their teaching practice;
- Have a working knowledge of the CAPS curriculum;
- Be aware of relevant curriculum developments and best practice in primary school teaching;
- Ability to appreciate and be committed to the Marist ethos and mission of the College;
- Willingness to be part of the extra-curricular programme
