Taal-Net Group of Schools is looking to appoint a high performing, innovative and qualified school teachers with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching to start January 2022.
Requirements:
- BEd / Diploma in Education or equivalent qualification
- Grade 12 Certificate (matric equivalent)
- SACE registration
- South African ID or valid Work Permit
- SAQA (if you hold a foreign qualification)
- 3 years’ experience in primary teaching
- Knowledge of both CAPS and Cambridge curriculum
- English language fluency
- Police clearance certificate
Duties:
- Teaching all areas of the primary school curriculum
- Plan for and be prepared to deliver lessons to students from 7:30 – 1:00pm daily within content area of specialisation.
- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
- Administer weekly and termly assessments to track student progress and analyse the data for student growth
- Coordinating activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting Calle colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Nurture a high achieving work environment where all students feel genuinely valued and supported
- Providing feedback to parents and carers on a pupil’s progress at parents’ evenings andother other meetings
- Keeping up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- Organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place atweekends or in the evening
- Maintaining discipline
- Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly
