Maphopha – A non-profit organisation (NPO) called Rehoboth Substance Abuse Prevention (RSAP) embarks on a journey of normalisation as they normalise hosting events with which to call upon the community of Sekhukhune District to notify them of the danger of substance abuse.

The event isn’t only beneficial to the worth of Ngwaabe, it is to parents at large as most of them are the battling to refrain from excessively taking substances. Some parents are not just aware that their behaviour is pushing their kids away, for instance, lack of parental care, emotional abuse, physical abuse and so forth. Rehoboth NPO’s been operating from 2014 to date, a lot of changes have been spotted since inception. It is enticing to see a group of mothers going out there to fight an invincible enemy breaking emerged to be united families.

The NPO is located in Ngwaabe, at Ga-Maphopha alongside Ngwaabe Shell Garage. The major aim of the organisation is to render substance abuse preventive services to the whole of Sekhukhune, major focus being schools, social groups, traditional leaders and so forth.
