Jane Furse – Jane Furse (JF) local police arrested five suspects following a failed robbery at Plaza.

From one of the source we approached on Thursday morning as the incident happened on Wednesday, the 16th of December – the Reconciliation Day the suspects wanted to rob one of the JF’s stores.

The attempt was made at Vodacom Chatz just a stone’s throw ABSA bank, sharing the same roof with Pep Cell and Capitec Bank ATM.

Fortunately, the police were alert as they prevented the happening of the planned robbery.

From the suspects, one of them is a female as exhibited on the video, as the audience or bystanders kept saying, “bana ba rena, bonang ngwannyana barn” simply meaning “look at our children, look at the girl,” those present at the scene kept saying that, whilst the girl was taken at the back of the police bakkie.

As to what transpired to make such an attempted, we are not fully aware as STUF News Team failed to engage with employees at the concerned store due to unforeseen circumstances.

Fortunately, no one was harmed, and feelings of gratitudes are directed towards the police for their bravery and rampid response as to curb the attack.

Despite that, we vow to keep giving accurate news not transgressing the human rights of those concerned.
