Jane Furse – A fatal crush in Ga-Sekhukhune claims four lives prior Christmas Day.

According to statement issued by Limpopo Department of Transport Liaison Officer, Mike Maringa, four people were killed in a ‘sideswipe’ collision iat Tjibeng on Christmas Eve.

The crash involved two sedans, Maringa said “one other person was critically injured. Reckless and negligent driving has been cited as the possible cause of the incident.”

Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya has conveyed messages of heartfelt condolences to the clans of the deceased for the bereavement.

Lerule-Ramakhanya also called upon public transport operators to unreservedly check or inspect their vehicle prior embarking on the road, and check if they are road worthy.
