Value Group promotes access to education and training for unemployed youth. The aim of the learnership programme is to upskill participants with a qualification that will enable them to be employable in a Logistics and Supply Chain Operational Environment.
Value Group has an exciting opportunity for qualifying candidates who are interested in a learnership for the period of 12 Months in the following qualifications:
The following Learnership Opportunities are open for applications:
NQF Level 3 Freight Handling
Available Regions:
- KwaZulu-Natal
Pinetown and Cato Ridge - Western Cape
Kraaifontein - Gauteng
Germiston, Olifantsfontein, Pomona and Isando
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate with 40% pass rate
NQF Level 5 Supply Chain Management
Available Regions:
- Gauteng
Germiston, Olifantsfontein, Pomona and Isando
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate with 50% pass rare
Candidates who meet the requirements and who are between the ages of 23-29 years old are invited to apply.
The learnership is structured as follows:
- You will be required to work from 07H00 to 17H00 from Monday to Friday with the possibility of working overtime as and when required.
- You will be required to attend theoretical classroom training one week per month.
- Workplace experience will be within an operational environment, this is not an office based learnership.
- Literacy and numeracy assessments will be conducted.
- You will undergo a criminal check.
- You will receive a monthly stipend.
