The following Graduate Learnership Opportunities are open for applications:
Learner: Junior Bid Support (EE)
This is a 12 month learnership which is comprised of work experience and training. The individual must be between 18-27 years old. The role is for AIC (African, Indian and Coloured candidates only)
Details of the Role:
- Assistance in administration of Bid Office and Assistance with Bid Preparation and assembly.
- Reporting:
- Assist senior bid managers to update and maintain bid register.
- Pro active review of bid register & follow up of meeting dates etc. with senior bid managers.
- Assist with weekly gates reporting.
- Bid Data Repository.
- Assist in the Bid Data Repository – Electronic and Paper.
- Assist in document management during bids.
- Reporting:
- Configuration
- Maintain Bid document number register & issue Bid document numbers to Senior Bid Managers.
- Bid Preparation
- Ensure sufficient resources available (stationary, tools, space).
- Assist Senior Bid Managers with document preparation – Document Templates, Formatting, spell checking, etc.
- Assist Senior Bid Managers with document assembly, copying, scanning, etc.
- Assist Senior Bid Managers wherever possible.
- B0 light bids
- Process and prepare B0 light bids as per discretion of the Head of bids,
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Cost and Management Accounting or
- Diploma or Degree with Procurement Management and Financial Skills or
- Diploma or Degree in any one of the pillars that makes tenders/bids go out in time such as Finance, Administration or Business Management.
- It will be advantageous to have worked in a bid environment for at least one year.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Ability
- Organizational (Document Assembly, etc).
- Attention to detail.
- Work in pressurized environment.
- Plan and prioritize time.
- Interpersonal Skills
- Team player.
- Be a person that takes ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
Knowledge:
- MS Word & Excel skills
- Chorus 2 Bid Process.
Learner: PMO / Projects (EE)
Project support function across the. Contributes to and supports structuring, scheduling, estimating, risks and opportunities management and reporting for projects.
Job Details:
- Assist with ad hoc tasks and directives as directed by the PMO Manager and Project Planner
- Set up and creation of new projects
- Monthly updating and maintenance of planning, schedules, costs and forecast for assigned projects
- General Project Support
- Assist with PMO operational issues ensuring appropriate project interface with project leaders, teams and tools.
- Development and management of the unit budget as directed.
- Monitoring of project profit and project costs.
Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Degree in;-
- Project Management or
- Finance or
- Business Administration or
- Business Management
- may be considered
Knowledge:
- MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, SAP would be advantageous
