The Advanced Data Analytics team specialises in solving data problems through complex statistical and mathematical models, machine learning algorithms, intelligent document processing and data visualisation techniques to extract insights and make predictions from large and diverse datasets. Our aim is to use data to support decision making for Standard Bank Operations by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
The learnership program will provide exposure to gain skills in data science and machine learning where you will be equipped on skills that will allow you to gather data, visualise data, model data , apply statistical analysis to answer questions and make insights and information as actionable as possible. The workplace training will provide an excellent foundation for candidates wanting to grow within the banking industry as data analysts, data scientists, machine learning specialists and AI Engineers.

Qualifications:
- Completed Tertiary Qualification in any of the following fields;-
- Actuarial Science
- Applied Sciences
- Computer Science
- Information Science
- Data Science
- Engineering
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Quantitative Management
- Advanced Analytics
- Information Systems
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Not be registered on any other learnership
- Not be studying at any other institution
