Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM) is made up of two Manganese mines Mamatwan and Wessels. Both operations are located in the Kalahari Basin, home to 80 per cent of the world’s manganese reserves.
About the Role
- The purpose of the role is to provide training and development opportunity to achieve the MQA Skills Programme certification for underground and surface Mobile Machinery. .
About You:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Successfully complete the learnership program;
- Obtain MQA Certificate, per the requirements of the chosen area of training;
- Demonstrate commitment to South32 Values and Care Strategy;
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of Mine Safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / (N3)
- Maths, Science (Advantageous).
- Valid Driver’s license is essential;
- Mining Experience will be advantageous;
- Proof of residence is essential.
