Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance Graduate for a 24-month fixed-term contract starting immediately. This vacancy is open to candidates who have completed a BCom Degree in Finance / Accounting, based in eThekwini, Cato Ridge / Pietermaritzburg surrounds (industrial area).
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Completed BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting – Non Negotiable (No National Diploma applicants will be considered)
- Willing and able to work weekends, shifts and extended hours (own transport preferred)
- Located in Hillcrest/Pinetown/Cato Ridge/Phoenix/PMB surrounds in Durban
- Computer Literate
- Team Player, Problem Solving attitude, wanting and willing to learn and be trained
Duties:
The successful candidate will obtain training and development on the finance processes within a manufacturing environment, while obtaining skills in applying the TQM problem solving methodology as well as;-
- Collaborate with procurement and finance to manage incoming deliveries to the warehouse and factory by verifying and signing for shipments, received items, and processing any returns
- Comparing purchase orders with invoices and picking lists.
- Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
- Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems.
- Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
- Must however have a good attitude, eager to learn; Adhoc, general as requested on the job
