Engineering Learnership Programme – Diesel Mechanical
World leader in the construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure for over 90 years. Colas South Africa (Pty) Ltd is a specialist manufacturer and applicator of bituminous binders and slurries for road surfacing. We operate across South Africa with factories and depots in all major centers.

Purpose of the Job:
Colas South Africa Engineering Learnership Programmes a unique opportunity to gain necessary skills in the road construction industry and also gain exposure to fields of expertise as well as acquire critical business competencies towards a trade certificate. Colas South Africa aims to provide suitably qualified N3 or N4 students with an opportunity to gain exposure to the work environment for a limited duration contract period.
Main Role Outcomes:
- Mechanical Engineering Learnerships related to two trades:
- Fitting and
- Diesel Mechanic
Requirements:
Most candidates will also be required to have the following;-
- Matric / N3 or N4 Technical course
- English, Mathematics & Physical Science
- Fitting & Turning will be an advantage
- Ability to read and design drawings
- Computer skill and knowledge also required
- Must know engineering materials as well as their uses
- Basic CAD training will be advantageous
