As a Legal and Compliance Graduate, you will work closely with our COO to gain practical experience in various aspects of contract law and corporate regulatory compliance. You will have the opportunity to conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and support compliance initiatives, often focusing on data protection. This position offers exposure to a range of legal and compliance matters, providing a valuable foundation for your future career in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes and regulations
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and compliance policies
- Support the legal and compliance team in day-to-day activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance training materials
Qualifications:
- Completed degree in;-
- Law,
- Legal Studies,
- Compliance,
- Or related field.
- Must have completed a module in Contract Law.
- Strong interest in corporate law, regulatory compliance, information security or related areas
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Previous work experience would be advantageous
