Responsibilities:
- Drafting of various legal documents in different legal departments
- Participating in client consultations
- Attending to matters in the relevant magistrates court, high court and other legal forums without assistance
- Meticulously maintain files and documentation
- Legal research
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and legal precedents relevant to assigned Assisting Senior Attorneys to develop their case strategies where necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from an accredited law school
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
- Must have own vehicle with a valid driver’s license
- Reside in the Johannesburg as the position is in Roosevelt Park
