CANDIDATE ATTORNEY 2023
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the work of the attorneys;-
- The organisation of case files and addressing any issues that arise with particular cases;
- Drafting legal documents, research;
- The Interacting with clients over the telephone, or by email or postal mail and/or in person;
- Receipt of/and organizing and completing necessary documentation;
- Monitoring case statuses;
- Answering client questions and referring them to the relevant attorney;
- Scheduling court cases, hearings and attorney/client meetings;
- Communicating with relevant correspondents and stakeholders in the course of file or case management;
- Attendance at relevant authorities and or offices in the course of file or case management;
- Any other general legal and file or case management task.
- Compilation of reports as instructed.
- Additional duties as and when required by management and the principal.
Requirements:
- An LLB Degree
- Applicant must be proficient in MS Office (MS Word; PowerPoint; Excel and Outlook)
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- The candidate must be a quick learner and the ability to work independently once trained and have good diary management skills.
