This is a twelve (12) months training programme to gain experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
What are the responsibilities for the role? (What does the Supply Chain/ Logistics programme involve?)
- Monitor and review customer back-order lines
- Work with role players to review and update planning parameters
- Use problem solving skills to assist the materials and supply chain teams
- Support with inventory management process of customer owed inventory and make recommendations
- Communicate issues that impact the department or organization to OTC management on a timely basis
- Review, codify and institutionalize best practices reinforced by the standard operating procedures
- Provide daily assistance to the business operations team
- Explore lean and effective recommendations and document Standard operating procedures
Through exposure and training on:
- Supply Chain and Warehouse Management
- Gain experience in logistics, distribution, and customer service
- Planning and quality assurance
Including development and training on:
- Interpersonal & communication skills
- Intellectual skills
- Organizational & management skills
Requirements:
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Financial accounting, or similar areas
- High performer
- Assertiveness and analytical thinker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
