The department seeks to appoint IT Technician on a permanent basis. He/she will be responsible for conducting installations and maintenance of equipment and software in all CSIT labs. Implement asset management control for all IT equipment in the department and ensure PC Security. Diagnose computer problems, monitor computer processing systems, install software and perform tests on computer equipment and programs for staff and students in CSIT
Prepare computer lab for student practical work or practical assessment. Ensure classroom projectors and smart boards are working at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose computer problems, monitor computer processing systems, install software and perform tests on computer equipment and programs
- Prepare computer lab for student practical work or practical assessment.
- Ensure classroom projectors and smart boards are working at all times
- Assist staff in the department with procurement of IT equipment required for students work and staff research
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology
- One (1) year relevant experience or Internship level experience
- Experience in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, troubleshooting Microsoft products, Adobe Products, VMWare and Various industry anti-virus.
- Professional certification such as: A+ certification, Linux+ certification, Microsoft certified IT professional certification, Cisco certified network associate certification, ITIL, COBIT certification etc will be an added advantage
