The primary focus of this role is to provide in-depth, original analysis of JSE stocks to the director of investments and Sanlam Private Wealth’s portfolio managers, to facilitate investment decision-making.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualification and Experience:
- Honours degree (B.Sc, B.Com, B.Bus.Sc or similar)
- Relevant postgraduate qualification would be advantageous (CA, CFA, MBA)
- Exposure in the private client industry helpful
- Strong track record of performance and delivery
- Advanced financial modelling and Microsoft skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint helpful
Knowledge and Skills
- Working knowledge of key commercial statues such as Tax, Companies Act and Regulation 28
- Ability to use terminal services such as Bloomberg and Inet
- Excellent understanding of investment markets and the economy
- Strong networking ability
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
