Roundpeg Talent looking for a Recruiting Research Associate to join our growing team.
Are you a new graduate who majored in a research-intensive field such as journalism, business, law, or economics? Are you determined enough always to find the information you are seeking, are you a stickler for accuracy, do you have an ability to spot patterns and solve puzzles, and are you fascinated by the diversity of people and businesses in South Africa?
What will you learn?
As a Recruiting Research Associate, you will conduct candidate, company and executive research to identify prospective candidates, build out profiles and organisational charts, and analyse the results for competitive insights and business intelligence. As you grow in the role, you will be responsible for qualifying candidates for roles, for building trusted relationships with industry experts, and for managing and reporting on projects – you will learn how to be the intermediary between organisations wishing to recruit (the client) and people seeking a career move (the candidate).
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors or Honours Degree in Business, Economics, Law, Journalism (or similar) is non-negotiable
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous
- Gap year work experience highly beneficial
- Ability to conduct and record in-depth research, and to translate found information into useful insights
- Tactful and highly articulate, with superb verbal and written communication skills
- Delivers consistently accurate and complete work – has good organisational and administrative skills, and is able to prioritise
