ICLIX (Pty) Ltd is seeking technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving ability for the position of Junior IT Technician.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about resolving IT problems and has an in-depth knowledge of computer software and hardware and has hands-on experience with a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.
Requirements:
- A+
- N+
- MCSA (will be an advantage)
- Good knowledge of Win XP, 7, 8, 10
- Good knowledge of Server 2002, 2008, 2016
- Good knowledge of VM, POP3, SMTP mail servers, Antivirus and IT Security
- Driver’s License
- Experience with Active Directory and web-based utilities
- Cabling and Networking
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical support, software support, hardware support, network management and administration of all IT assets
- Ongoing training for end-users to raise company-wide computer and system literacy is a core component of this position
- Answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone/remotely
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding promptly to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Resolving Network issues
- Perform troubleshooting using remote desktop applications
- Data management
- Backup of servers and data integrity checks
