The Work You Will Do:
You will work with Genesis colleagues in consulting teams to help our clients unlock and realise value. In each project, you will be involved in responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Perform rigorous analysis of data using both conceptual and quantitative approaches
- Apply specialist thinking and logic to problem-solving
- Prepare clearly thought-out and logically written documentation
- Perform relevant research related to projects to source required data
- Clean data sourced to make it project-specific and relevant
- Vetting of all information to ensure accuracy
- Client interaction and negotiation
- Build intellectual capacity and property.
Requirements:
The ideal Genesis candidate carries a balanced combination of powerful intellect, strong technical skills, and a consulting character to match. Such candidates:
- Are passionate, self-motivated, and energetic problem solvers
- Value integrity and exhibit ethical behaviour
- Are analytical thinkers and fast learners with an excellent tertiary record.
In addition, preferred candidates will possess the following skills and competencies:
- Postgraduate Degrees in Economics or related disciplines, Development Studies, International Development, Public Policy, Policy Evaluation, Public Health (Epidemiology), Health Economics, Behavioural Science, PPE, Sustainability, Climate Change
- Master’s Degrees in any of the above-mentioned disciplines are preferred
- Leadership potential, and the capability to lead and manage projects
- Ability to solve problems through clear thinking, with strong qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills in English
