CAPIC is looking for a dynamic and suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our Advisory & Management business stream at a Junior Consultant level.
If you have 2 to 5 years’ experience in the built environment and a keen interest to grow and diversify your knowledge and skills set wider than purely technical aspects of your engineering discipline, in project management, transaction advisory, management consulting, project preparation, project delivery management, business incubation, commercial and project finance, you may be the person we are looking for!
CAPIC offers a dynamic environment where you will be dealing with novel and complex problems entailing technical, commercial, contracts and financial aspects in the industry.
The Role
- Responsible for a variety of specific deliverables as part of multi-disciplinary teams conducting feasibility studies and procurement process.
- Deliverables include reports, financial models, cost calculation, specifications.
- Demonstrate the ability to grow in the role to manage both internal and external consulting teams, contractors and client liaison.
- Understand the fundamentals of various procurement mechanisms and forms of contract and how these impact the project business case.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent MS Office competence.
The Candidate will need to have the following:
- Qualification, preferably BSc or BTech in;-
- Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Construction Management
- Project Management.
- Preference will be given to post-graduate qualifications and professional registrations.
- South African citizens only, preference will be given to historically disadvantaged individuals (HDIs) and females.
- A minimum 3-month probation period will apply to the position.
- You will be based at either our Centurion or Cape Town office dependent on your location, but this may change subject to project needs.
