South Africa-based company that has been providing financial market software solutions since the mid-80s seeks junior C# Developer. The company has grown its solutions to offer a wide variety of systems across the globe, including Africa, the Caribbean, and Europe. They offer tailored solutions to the financial sector and their core products cover exchange solutions, trading systems, custodian solutions, central depository solutions, risk management, and back-office management systems.
Owing to increased demand for their services, they are looking for a highly motivated C# Developer to join their growing team.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of C# programming language and experience with SQL databases, C# TCP/UDP stack, C# Threading, and Windows Services.
- An updated MCSD certification and experience with WPF/WCF, ASP.Net, MVC, TFS and Knockout JS are also essential requirements.
- Knowledge of the financial sector, Git source control knowledge and experience in Web Services like Signal R would be beneficial.
- In terms of personal requirements, we are looking for someone who is self-confident and possesses a positive attitude, is always ready for a challenge, and has the ability to accept constructive feedback.
- A willingness to learn quickly and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
- Good time management and flexibility, the ability to work independently, and accountability/ownership are also important.
- Customer service orientation, initiative, integrity, honesty, critical thinking and decision-making skills, and being a team player are also highly valued.
