Driver will be responsible for transporting AHRI staff between AHRI Durban and AHRI Somkhele, pickups/drop offs at various sites in the Mtubatuba/Durban area as well as general and admin duties as directed by Line Manager. This includes Night Shift, Public Holidays and Weekend work as and when required by the Institute.
Minimum Qualifications
- Senior Certificate
- Valid Driver’s license Code C1 with PrDP driver’s License with at least 3 years driving experience
- Possess and maintain a safe driving record with no serious offenses against his/her name.
- Advance or defensive driving training is an added advantage
Minimum Experience:
- At least 3 years work experience as a driver
- Previous professional experience or exposure in the transportation of hazardous goods/specimens is an added advantage
- Previous professional experience in transportation of passengers and high-level delegation is an added advantage.
