This is a remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are a business consultancy firm that requires a software development intern to work closely together with our software development head in assisting with daily tasks and other duties. Some of the tasks you will be performing include;-

Working with the web hosting platform AWS
Using WordPress (Gutenberg) to develop custom templates for clients and modifying it to meet clients’ expectations.
Using Zoho as our primary business platform to migrate clients from other platforms. We use most of the applications in Zoho suite such as Mail, Campaigns, and CRM, which enable us to provide our clients with a streamlined and integrated solution.
Email Marketing: We use Zoho Campaigns and CRM to create, schedule, and automate email marketing campaigns for our clients. Experience with other email marketing platform is helpful as the skills can be transferable.
Maintenance:As we have clients on retainer, we also handle daily requests for changes, updates, and troubleshooting.

We need candidates who are interested in various aspects of the digital marketing process.

Requirements:

Successful applicants will have these competencies;-

WordPress/Joomla/Drupal
Html, CSS, Javascript, PHP
MySQL/PHPMyAdmin
Knowledge of LAMP stack
Email marketing (any platform – Zoho, Mailchimp, etc)
Knowledge of GA, GTM, GSC
General SEO knowledge

Personal Skills:

Curious mind
Autodidact (can learn on their own)
Problem solving
Good eye to for design (Understanding of typography, grid system, colour theory, etc)
Good communicator
Attention to detail
