Yara invites qualified Mechanical Engineering Graduates to apply for a 12-month work programme at our Umbogintwini (Durban) Production Plant. During the programme you will gain exposure to and contribute to projects, maintenance, engineering and plant operations.
Task Exposure and work Environment:
- Be part of interdisciplinary team and be able to interact professionally with all staff on site
- Make recommendations regarding improved mechanical systems, mechanical maintenance methodologies, or designs.
- Compile relevant engineering calculations, project proposals, detailed design and drawings, technical support.
- Work with plant personnel to understand plant problems – Trouble shooting, Research, Analysis and suggesting solutions.
- Work with the administration of process documents, Safety Requirements, Change management procedures.
Who can Apply:
- Applicants must have completed their required qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
