Wesgro is recruiting for graduates. This is a one-year contractual position.
An all-inclusive market related remuneration package will apply.
Wesgro is the Official Tourism, Trade and Investment Promotion Agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape. Our role is to position and market Cape Town and the Western Cape as a desirable place to visit, trade with and invest in. Purpose of the Vacancy:
Promote, support and administer the initiatives to drive tourism, trade and investment promotion for economic development in Cape Town and the Western Cape.
Requirements:
- The applicant must be in possession of an appropriate degree in;-
- Tourism,
- Marketing,
- Public Relations,
- Economics,
- Education,
- Business Management,
- Information Systems,
- Information Technology
- Or any of the related fields
- Preference will be given to applicants in possession of an Honours or Masters qualification
- Applicants must demonstrate sound knowledge of business management, public relations and or administration skills.
- Applicants must possess strong writing and communication skills, have the ability to multitask and be able to communicate and interact with a diverse group of people.
- Applicants will be expected to take initiative and be innovative/creative in assisting within the unit.
